TED LLC

1997

Blackboard LLC

Blackboard LLC. was founded in 1997 and began as a consulting firm to the non-profit Global Learning Consortium to develop a prototype for online learning and thinking through online learning standardization.

MIT OCW

Massachusetts Institute of Technology Open Course Ware is an initiative to publish all of the educational materials from its undergraduate- and graduate-level courses online, freely and openly available to anyone, anywhere.

Moodle was originally developed with the goal of helping educators create online courses and a focus on interaction and collaborative construction of content.
